Personality Info.....

Week 1.5 - Lightening is pretty quiet so far but he was the 1st one to climb out of the box that

we put them in when we let momma out.

Week 2.5 Normally it is a girl that steels my heart x that may yet be the case but this boy here is giving his sisters a run for their money. This boy has been showing smarts way beyond what he should have x while my kids say he looks grumpy in his photos x I am not dissagreeing but I wonder if he is going to have "old wise eyes" if that makes sense - he knows more than he should x you can already see his thought process in his expression.  We had a puppy years ago from Lexis x Brody this way x I am waiting to see if he is going to be the same. Lightening listens before he reacts - that is pretty amazing in a Dane x he has done it on more than 1 occasion. Example - While his momma was out eating, I came back to clean x now that they all can hear, all but him go crazy thinking mom is back - Light just lifted his head sniffed the air, looked my way x I swear the look on his face was nah your not mom x he laid his head back down x ignored me - I was impressed cause his sibings were all going crazy at my feet. On a side note, he also a toe licker......

Week 3.5 Light has shown himself to be extremely confident this week when he was moved to the whelping room - with just him x Blitz in there  - no smell in there except his momma's on the mattress (it was her bedding that I used) x my scent from putting down everything - he immediately started exploring the whole room x was just following me everywhere once I had them all in there x was working on getting them use to their new digs - Light took Zero time to adjust. So, will be testing him this week to see if he is over confident (alpha) or if he is just trusting.
